Portraits

Lately I've started doing some portrait drawings. I've never taken a class; so far I've learned from reading books and watching some YouTube videos.
This self portrait is the first portrait drawing I've ever done.  These drawings will be in order by date so you can see my progress in later drawings.

This is my drawing of the actress Emma Watson who played Hermione in the Harry Potter Movies.  The full detail of the drawings can't be seen here because these are scanned copies of the original drawings, but it's still visible that the values improved, especially in the eyes.

Following the Harry Potter theme, this is my portrait of Daniel Radcliffe who plays Harry in the Harry Potter Movies.  This is probably the best portrait I've drawn so far.

This is Adele, which is also my first charcoal drawing.  All of my previous  portraits were done in graphite alone.

For everyone familiar with the Divergent series by Veronica Roth, this is a drawing of what I envision the main character Tris Prior to look like.  This portrait wasn't meant to be as realistic as my others.  It was just for fun to capture my image of Tris before the movie comes out.

My designs

These are some of my drawings and designs.
This is my design for my school's yearbook cover contest. I used sharpie pens and brush pens and drew zentangle designs.  It got the back cover!

This is a lovely manga mermaid.  I usually don't draw with color, but I enjoyed using colored pencil, brush pens, and copic marker to bring Ms. Mermaid to life.
